Next week is the start of my exams, and unfortuantley it has become a competiton on not only who can get the good grades, but who can convince a person to share their summary sheets to someone who, well, lets say “didn’t have time to make one”. I have to admit that I’ve done that a few times, but this time I’m prepared.
Summary sheets for me basically mean that its a book filled with the entire classes recapped on one document. And they are really, really long – nearly summarising everything in a chapter, or a semester; and that is what they make me so popular to get them off me. I think… And if you don’t believe me -
- History – 15 pages
- Maths – 6 pages (double sided), with more being added
- Religion – 12 pages
- Civics and Citizenship – 6 pages
- Science – 13 pages, with more being added
And this weekend, I’m actually devoting my time to finishing all my summary sheets on a Friday – then I can study on the books and the sheets for Religion, Japanese, English and Maths – during Saturday and Sunday. And unfortunatley, I won’t be able to update TECHGEEK.com.au, nor the rest of the crew. Damn…
As well, people have started offering money to buy them. While I would go against this, I told my classmates that MONDAY will be the only day (or final day) that they will get my summary sheets. I also told them that I haven’t decided on the price, but I might make it a tiered system – and I really do not want to give my summary sheets, unless they can manage to cough up $100 each so I can get the latest MacBook.
But hey, it’s all about the money education, right?
